The Colors of Fall

The Colors of Fall

I tend to be one of those people that find themselves in "ruts". For example, every restaurant I've ever been to, I order the exact same thing every time I go. That's a rut. Or every Autumn that comes around, I flock to my browns & blacks that were neglected all summer.
Well not this year I tell you! This year we all have permission to go wild with color...yet still here I am in the rut of  "Fall Approved Colors"  What can I say, I'm a work in progress.

Needless to say each of these colors, Plum, Cobalt Blue, Mustard, & *Oxblood scream Fall, Autumn, Leaves, Thanksgiving! Not to mention they compliment each other perfectly. Pair Mustard with Oxblood, or Cobalt with Plum, even do a switcharoo! The possibilities are endless, and if you're a bit wilder than most you can throw in any jewel tone you like.
Colors are your playground this season and I think it's due time for us to have some fun.

*To those of you who loathe the word "Oxblood" I was with you at first, but I decided to embrace it. Fashion is nothing if not unique & set apart from the crowd. So Goodbye Maroon, Goodbye Burgundy, at least you have each other to keep warm.

What are YOUR Favorite Colors to
wear in the chilly fall months?

  5. Suzzy - I bet those colors look Gorg on you!

Elise - Me too! This post really didn't help with the whole "Christmas Season I won't spend money on myself right now Goal" ;)

Pockets & Prints - I have this theory that Cobalt Blue looks gorgeous on just about everyone! And if you're just coming around to mustard try little hints here and there like jewelry or that little purse :)

Charis - I bet that looks gorgeous on those beautiful full lips of yours!! Kind of Jealous I didn't "inherit" that in the family line of things... :)

    1. Dear Anon,
I'm so glad you stopped by my page and took the time to read through my post. Few people can make Forever 21 look like Fendi...In time I'm sure my advice can show even you how to pull it off ;)
Either way, I sincerely appreciate your time.
