The Blouse Effect

I love that the classic "Blouse" has made such a comeback. Okay, maybe it really never left us, but it seems to be predominate across the style board these days and there are few items that hold the same timeless class. It's like the daily version of the LBD, and completely Blair Waldorf Approved. 

Work it with a casual pair of jeans for Saturdays errands, or a hot pair of leather skinny's for Girls Night out, or a great dress pant or Pencil Skirt for the professional workday. One blouse can add a multitude of ensembles to your closet, and what's even better is you don't have to shop at Bergdorfs (though yes, we would enjoy it) to get a great one.

Another beauty regarding the classic blouse is that it works for all shapes & sizes. The loose and often "flounsy" materials hides any unwanted to be exposed secrets and looks great over a trouser or skinny pant leg. So there it is girls! I don't want to hear any excuses as to why you don't have at least one great blouse sitting in your closet... I guarantee you it won't "sit" there for long.
