BOOTS: The Staple of Fall

You've forced my hand ladies. 

Yep, a Whopping 80% of you voted on my latest poll that Boots are the fall trend you're most looking forward to! I have to say well done, because I highly agree. 

(Though I was surprised at the lack of Pumpkin Spice Latte love.. really?!) 

We tire of our boring flip flops early on in the summer heat, and wait for our beloved boots every step of the way for months to come. Personally, though were technically almost done with the first official week of fall I have only worn a pair of my boots once so far this season. I snagged them out of my closet on a freak day about 2 weeks ago when the weather hit 60 degrees. (That's Cold after an Oklahoma Summer people) But then of course the temperature climbed back up.. so my boots crawled back in my closet. But Not for long! Surely, Surely Autumn Crisp air approaches me soon and my boots will be ready for me, I just know it.  

Here are some of my favorite styles/ finds for boots this fall, in honor of your awesome polling skills :) 

The Brown Equestrian Boot
A Fall Favorite & Must Have. It matches just about any Autumn outfit you can think of,
or better yet, they MAKE any outfit you can think of an automatic Autumn outfit.
Just be careful of the "Overdone Equestrian"
... remember you're not ACTUALLY going horseback riding today.. unless you are of course?

"Classic Black"
-A staple for any winter wardrobe. Be sure to invest in a pair that will "go with  everything"
sometimes too much detail can limit how & what you can wear them with.

I love a Gray Boot over a black ensemble such as black leggings (an almost every day thing for me in the winter)
I particularly loved these with the brown buckle accents. Their a little out of my typical price range, but I couldn't resist, as Rachel Zoe would say- so maj!
If you have the extra cash to splurge get these at ALDO for $80
The rest of us will just Sigh... and move on :)
Don't lose heart girls! I found similar gray boots in places like Marshalls & ROSS!



Finally, we cannot leave out The Ankle Boot.
There are a ton of options when it comes to ankle boots, from color to style.
They're great for a more casual feel, and Autumn to it's core with a pair of skinny jeans.
I chose these because when your neck get's whiplash  just from turning around because you almost passed by them on your weekly Target stroll- its a sure sign of a good buy.
